Matador Resources Company (NYSE:MTDR) (“Matador” or the “Company”), an
independent energy company engaged in the exploration, development,
production and acquisition of oil and natural gas resources, with an
emphasis on oil and natural gas shale and other unconventional plays and
with a current focus on its Eagle Ford operations in South Texas and its
Permian Basin operations in Southeast New Mexico and West Texas, today
was pleased to announce that Ryan C. London, the Company’s Vice
President and General Manager, has been promoted and appointed as
Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Company, effective
February 5, 2015. In addition, Van H. Singleton, II, the Company’s Vice
President – Land, has been promoted and appointed as Executive Vice
President – Land of the Company, effective February 5, 2015.
Joseph Wm. Foran, the Company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer,

several years and have been vital to the steady growth and progress of
the Company – each adding significant value to the Company. Van has
worked diligently to help us build our acreage position in both the
Eagle Ford shale play and the Permian Basin. Ryan has led our team in
its efforts to develop our Eagle Ford acreage position and improve the
quality and the effectiveness of our completion operations. Ryan has
also worked to position us to explore and develop our growing interest
in the Permian Basin. I am excited to see both of these capable and
respected young leaders take on additional responsibility as they help
the Company to continue to prosper and grow in its key operating areas.”
Mr. London joined Matador as a summer intern in 2004. He then joined the
Company full-time as a Petroleum Engineer in May 2005 and advanced to
the positions of Senior Operations Engineer in January 2008 and Asset
Manager in March 2012. He was promoted to Vice President and General
Manager in March 2013. In this position, Mr. London managed the
completions team and the day-to-day activities of our various asset
teams and will continue to do so in his new position. Mr. London
received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from
Texas A&M University in 2002 and his Master of Engineering degree in
Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 2005. Mr. London
is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and is a Licensed
Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. Mr. London has also
completed the Harvard Business School Executive Education General
Management Program.
Mr. Singleton joined Matador in August 2007 as a Landman and was
promoted to Senior Staff Landman in 2009 and then to General Land
Manager in 2011. In September 2013, Mr. Singleton became Vice President
- Land. Mr. Singleton received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal
Justice from the University of Mississippi in 2000. He is an active
member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, the New
Mexico Landman Association, the Permian Basin Landman Association and
the Dallas Association of Petroleum Landmen. He will attend the Tuck
School of Business Executive Program at Dartmouth this summer.
